In the recent turn of events, two of Delhi NCR’s finest rappers have dropped a collaborative EP. Relatable lyrics meet comedic delivery, Fotty Seven and Bali have dropped their latest collaborative EP, “Jai Veeru” consisting of 6 tracks each with their unique yet relatable nack. 

On 5 July, Fotty Seven and Bali dropped their first collaborative EP, “Jai Veeru” which consisted of 6 tracks: “BHAI HAI”, “Aji Mera ghanta”, “Pump Dekh”, “Lathi Charge”, “Dikkat”, “Haramzada”. Out of the 6 tracks, one of the tracks was a collaboration, 3 were by Bali and the rest 2 were by Fotty Seven. Both have been teasing about their upcoming collaboration for quite some time. The duo is well known in the Desi hip-hop community and have previously collaborated on multiple tracks and have also featured together in tracks of artists like Badshah.

Their first track “BHAI HAI”, a collaborative track between Fotty Seven and Bali, was released a few weeks earlier than the rest. The track was also accompanied by a music video with both rappers flexing their funny and yet very genuine friendship (botherhood). Lyrically, both rappers talk about their friendship, their banters and inside jokes. Overall, the track is quite relatable and enjoyable to listen to. Bali rapped three tracks: “Aji Mera ghanta”, “Lathi Charge” and “Haramzada”. Each track is marked by his signature comedic delivery and sarcastic lyrics. The beats, the delivery and the hooks, each element of the tracks were all amazing. Fotty Seven has rapped on two tracks:  “Pump Dekh” and “Dikkat”. Both tracks are marked by fearlessly crafted lyrics, alongwith impactful beats and hooks. 

The EP is an excellent mark of the rappers’ enviable friendship. Each rapper with their unique style of rapping, coming together in the EP marks the beauty that exists within hip-hop. The Desi hip-hop community is also in awe with the EP, many expressing their love for this comedic duo of rappers. “Bali X fotty seven = funniest duo in scene”, “Most ente”, “Brotherhood ki puri reality dikha Di mja aa gya ”
