Just a few weeks after releasing his EP “sPEAK”, Emiway Bantai is again here with his latest single “Chalis”. This surprise-packed track has taken the fans of Desi hip-hop by a strom.

Emiway Bantai released his track “Chalis” on 28 July, one day after announcing its upcoming release. On 26 July, the rapper took to his broadcast channel on Instagram to ask his fans if she should drop something. The casual question “KUCH DROP KARU?”, which gained over 10k replies from his fans, sent the fandom into a frenzy. Just like the fans hoped, the next day the rapper shared the poster for his upcoming song “Chalis”. The very next day he dropped the track, leaving the fans asking for more. Right after the release of the song, it started trending on YouTube. 

This release has come off as a surprise to many and fans are thrilled to think that the old Emiway is back with amazing lyrics, mind-blowing rhythm and hardcore beats. The song is focused on Emiway and his start on the healing journey. Like he had said previously, he wants to stop spreading hate. He mentions that he has started detoxing after spreading tons of smoke around (after fighting and beefing with others for a long time, he wants to embrace peace and healing). 

The release of this song has taken the world of Desi hip-hop by storm. Previously heavily criticised for taking a long break, Emiway Bantai seems to be dropping EPs after EPs. The rapper has yet again announced that his EP “Bajis” will be coming soon with the song “Chalis”. This has yet again taken fans of Desi hip-hop by surprise. Once criticised for not releasing enough music, Emiway now seems to be releasing more music than anyone else, but we are not complaining now. We hope that Emiway’s upcoming EP will be a successful one.
