KING X SEEDHE MAUT: THE UNEXPECTED COLLABORATION

Desi hip-hop fans, something unexpected just happened. While the desi rap world is busily keeping up with the beef between Seedhe Maut and SOS, it was just announced that KING and Seedhe Maut will be collaborating on “Kodak”, KING’s upcoming track.

KING has been posting about his upcoming track “Kodak” on his social media for quite a while now. In one of his posts, he also expressed how he was upset about the current state of desi hip-hop. According to his post, hip-hop is not a form of art anymore, it has only become a vessel for expressing heat. But no matter what, hip-hop to him is a form of art and will remain so. No matter what happens, all his tracks will be art and not just ways of expressing anger and heat. This is much needed as the hip-hop community is often associated with “beef culture”, with one artists using their art to put the other artists down.

As he put it in the caption:

“Just because i love hip hop so fu*kn much and i’ve been listening to various types of it since childhood and learned a way of presenting it when i grew up. I want to say so much about how pissed i am with our so called desi hip hop brainies and how hip hop is not for art anymore but for heat and how they put you in a box when you actually go there and serves it with all you have. but fu*k it!!! i gotta do what i gotta do mann!!!! another classic piece of art is coming from MM classics.”

But with only a few hours to go for the release of his upcoming track “Kodak”, KING has announced that this is a collaboration with Seedhe Maut. This unexpected announcement has caused quite a bit of excitement among the desi hip-hop community. Many desi hip-hop fans have expressed their excitement by commenting: “Raja raising the bar”, “Tabaahi hi kehdeee”, “Finally bkc aa hi Gaye”, “Jhanda gada bunde faadi dehshat hai”

While many are anticipating to see fruit that this unexpected duo might bear, many are also anticipating whether this collaboration will have any impact on the recent beef between Seedhe Maut and SOS.

While this duo(or trio) was sudden and unexpected, it is perfect.
