KR$NA DROPS SURPRISE EP “FOR THE SAY ONE$”

KR$NA is here to shake things up again. Without any warning or teasers, KR$NA has dropped his latest surprise EP, “For The Day One$”, sending the world of desi hip-hop into a frenzy. The EP consists of four tracks— “Shut up”, “What’s up?”, “Stay Away” and “Role Model” each of which are absolute works of art.

On 2nd July, as early as 6 in the morning, KR$NA woke and chose to drop his latest EP without any previous warning. The sudden release was quite a shock to desi hip-hop fans as marketing and promotions are considered to play significant roles in the success of music. Well, leave it to KR$NA to capture the audience’s attention without any promotions. The rapper/producer has not only managed to gain an enormous amount of views and streams in a matter of few hours, but has also been receiving showers of praise for making such a cool move. Many have praised him for releasing his new EP without any form of promotion and proving that he only depends on his talent to succeed in this industry.

A few of the fans have expressed their excitement in the comment section:  “Bro dropped a Project on a random ass Tuesday Morning ”, “Bro dropped this 6 in the morning on a random Tuesday without any promo DAMN. Bro knows his hype”, “Subah Jaldi uthna worth it hogaya ji”, “Bro dropped ep out of nowhere and have hype of whole dhh”.

This is his first EP release after “Joota Japani” in January of this year. The EP consists of four songs with various artists featuring in them. In “Shut up” (with SubSpace), KR$NA makes it known he is done with the unsolicited advice and opinion floating around everywhere.

The second track, “What’s up?” (featuring Lisa Mishra) is slightly different from the other three tracks. This track is focused on romantic relationships and the insecurity that the other person may leave you.

Stay Away” (with Bharg) focuses on how people are treated after they gain fame. It paints a picture of how the people who once left him when he was not successful now want to be associated with him.

In the last track of the EP, “Role Model” (with Faris Shafi and Karma), KR$NA calls out those who point at him for being a bad role model by saying that he was never a good one. He was never a role model so to expect him to be on his best behaviour does not make sense.

It can be concluded that the EP is a banger and KR$NA has once again proved that with his talent, he can shake the world of desi rap within a span of a few minutes.
