Taking to Instagram, MC Stan expressed his frustration and sought help from YouTube India to regain control of his channel. He also urged his fans to be cautious and avoid interacting with any suspicious links that might appear on the hacked channel.
“Someone hacked my YouTube channel, don’t know what’s going on. Please be patient for a while,” MC Stan wrote in his Instagram story, tagging YouTube India for assistance.
In another story, he included a screenshot from a Bitcoin-related video uploaded by the hackers. This served as a warning to his fans against potential scams. “Don’t scan any QR codes or click on unfamiliar links. It could be a scam,” he cautioned.
MC Stan, whose real name is Altaf Shaikh, is a prominent figure in the Indian rap scene and is known for his unique style and raw lyricism. His breakthrough came in 2017 with the release of his track “Wata,” which quickly garnered attention for its gritty lyrics and captivating flow.
The rapper’s situation highlights the vulnerability of social media accounts belonging to celebrities. It serves as a reminder for everyone to practice online safety and be wary of clicking on suspicious links or downloading unknown files.
