After being asked multiple times about the release of new music, Mrunal Shankar has finally replied. The rapper, in a recent Instagram story, said that there are new songs coming, but they will be coming out only when the time is right.
After being constantly questioned about new music, Mrunal Shankar finally posted a short clip of her rapping on Instagram. But this clip had far less engagement than any of her previous reels that were not related to music. With a screenshot of this, she wrote, “Isiliye rush nahi krri gaane daalne me. Logo ka jyada dhyaan toh bakchodi par hai, gaane par nahi..” (this is why I do not rush when posting new music. People care more about useless stuff, not music) and “Gaane ayenge par apne samay par. Mujhe taunt marne se wo jaldi nahi aanewale.” (new songs will come in right time. They wont be released early by rushing me).
Mrunal Shankar initially rose to fame after participating in the hit Indian reality show MTV Hustle and becoming the first female participant to make it to the finals. The show is well-known among the Desi hip-hop community for bringing into the limelight many talented rappers and giving them the rightful space to shine. Captivating the judges through her realistic lyrics and energetic performance, she garnered massive attention for her ability to engage and command the attention of the audience. Her hit track “Ameeri” that she performed in the show was received massive amount of support from the judges and was a hit among the fans.
While Mrunal has not announced the release of any new music, she will be featuring in a track of Badal’s upcoming album Escobar. The fans are quite excited about this upcoming collaboration of two amazing participants on MTV Hustle.
While the fans eagerly wait for the rapper to release new music, we wish are all the luck in her journey.
